The charging pile industry chain is mainly divided into equipment manufacturers and charging operators.
1 The charging pile equipment itself does not have too high technical content, the standard is uniform, the compatibility is good, the quality is stable, and the construction can be done properly. The difference in competition is mainly reflected in the stability of the equipment produced, cost control, brand reputation and bidding ability.
2 Charging operations have many aspects.
The basic profit models for charging operations are: service fees, electricity price differentials, value-added services, and upcoming state subsidies. As an emerging industry, it is also involved in the national power control industry. Service fees and electricity prices are subject to state guidance, and they are not freely priced. There is no specific amount of subsidy geometry. The space for value-added services and various business developments are still being explored. So although a large number of charging piles are being built quickly, the industry of charging operations itself is full of uncertainties.
There are currently four construction and operation modes: government-led, enterprise-led, mixed-mode, and crowdfunding models.
1) Government leadership is invested and operated by the government. The advantage is that the promotion is strong, the shortcoming is that the financial pressure is high, the operation efficiency is low, and it is not necessarily suitable for marketization.
2) Enterprise leadership is invested and operated by enterprises, and is matched with electric vehicle sales and charging pile production. The advantage is that the operation management is highly efficient. The disadvantage is the lack of unified management, which may lead to disorderly competition.
3) The mixed mode is supported by the government and the enterprise is responsible for the construction. The advantage is that the government and the enterprise can complement each other and promote the development of the industry faster, but the shortcoming is that it is greatly affected by the policy.
4) The crowdfunding model is to integrate the government, enterprises, society and other forces to participate. The advantage is that it can improve the utilization of social resources, adapt to the market, and pay attention to user needs. The shortcoming is that the integration of interests of all parties is difficult, and ultimately it depends on policy guidance.
It is easy to see that in the current charging pile industry, it is greatly affected by national policies. The spirit and documents at the national level are relatively clear, but before the introduction of local policy rules, we are actually unable to make quantitative analysis and accurate judgment.
